BUTTON
On/Off Switches the Lite-Com III on and off.
UP (+) Increases level of selected function.
DOWN (–) Decreases level of selected function.
MODE (•) Function key for selecting between menu
functions. Selected function is displayed
on the LCD and conrmed by a voice mes-
sage.
SET Selection and storage of four quick choice
settings.
PTT Speech button for transmitting with the Lite-
Com III.
PTT AUX Speech button for control of externally con-
nected equipment.
DISPLAY
SUR Volume of ambient sounds
VOL Volume of the Lite-Com radio’s reception
CH Channel settings
VOX Voice-controlled transmission
SQ Hiss reduction
SUB Tone selective transmission and reception
PWR Output
Level indicator Scale that indicates current setting for respec-
tive functions. Dashed line = 0 (Off)
Battery indicator Scale that indicates current battery voltage
Channel Indicates current channel (1–69) or sub-chan-
nel (0–38).
M1–M4 Indicates selected quick choice setting.
