  To address air entering the Pentair Pool Products Swimming Pool Filter, first, correct any conditions in your filtration system that allow air to enter. If the skimmer is starving for water due to a low water level in the pool or spa while the pump is running, add water. Air bubbles or low water level in the pump hair and lint pot may be caused by low water level, a clogged skimmer basket, a split suction cleaner hose, a leak in the pump hair and lint pot lid, or a leak in the pump suction line. Address these issues accordingly. If air is discharged from the High Flow™ manual air relief valve on top of the filter when the valve is opened with the pump running, refer to the initial steps.
