Why is my Pentair Water Pump operating but delivering no water?
    • A
      Angela HuberAug 12, 2025
Several factors could be responsible. Ensure the pump is filled with water. Check that the suction head isn't too high and that the foot valve/strainer is sufficiently submerged. Also, inspect the suction pipe and joints for air leaks and make sure the suction pipe/strainer or non-return valves aren't clogged with debris. Finally, the pump itself may be clogged.

How to fix reduced performance in my Pentair ONGA IMH750 Water Pump?
    • S
      Steven RichAug 27, 2025
Reduced performance can occur for several reasons. Start by reducing the suction head and lengthening the suction pipe if the foot valve/strainer is only partially submerged. If these steps don't solve the issue, the pump shaft seal may be worn or damaged, requiring replacement of defective parts. Also, remove any debris and flush the pump with clean water in case the pump is partially blocked.

What to do if Pentair ONGA IMH750 Water Pump hums and the thermal relays cut in and out?
    • R
      Robert SheppardSep 3, 2025
This issue is typically caused by the pump being clogged by debris. Begin by cleaning the suction pipe and foot valve/strainer. Then, flush the pump with water, removing the priming and drain plugs. If the pump still won't start after several flushings, it will need to be dismantled and thoroughly cleaned.
