Before attaching
your
new LX lnterchangeable
Viewf inder to the camera,
remove the existing
finder
by
moving
the
f
rnder
release
lever
counter-
clockwise
and slidrng
the unit away
f rom
the
camera as shown
(f
or cameras
not equipped with
a
f
inder,
remove
the
protective
body cap
in
the
same
manner). When
removing a
f inder,
be sure
to slide
it
very carefully and slowly
so as to avoid
dropping
it. Af ter
removal,
cover
it
with the
protective
f
inder
base cap to
protect
against dust
and
scratches.
Attaching the
new
f
inder: Align the
f inder
with
the body,
making
sure
it matches up with the

grooves
properly
as shown.
Then,
slide
it
slowly
and smoothly toward the
f
ront
of the camera
until
it locks
firmly
in
place.
When
attaching
a
f
rnder rt's a
good
iclea to
jiggle
it to make
sure
that
it is
securelV attached.
IMPORTANT: Avoid touching the
glass
surfaces
of the
iinder, eyepiece
and camera body
when
attaching or
removing
the
frnder
to
protect
aqainst
possible
damage
from fingerprints,
dust,
grit
ancl
grease.
When
absolutely necessary, use a
blower or
camel's harr brush
to
remove loose
dust or
qrit
and
ensure the
brightest, cleanest
image.
