Before
attaching
your
new
LX Interchangeable
Viewf inder
to the camera,
remove
the existrng
f
inder by moving
the
f
inder release lever
cou
nter-
clockwise and sliding
the unit away
f
rom
the
camera as shown
(for
cameras
not
equipped with
a
f
inder, remove
the
protective
body
cap
rn
the
same
manner).
When
removing
a
f
rnder,
be sure
to
slide
it very
carefully and
slowly so as to avoid
dropping it.
After
removal,
cover
it with
the
protective
f
inder
base cap to
protect
against dust
and
scratches.
Attaching
the new
finder:
Align the
f
inder
with
the body, making
sure
it
matches up
with the

it locks firmly
in
place.
When
attaching
a
f
inder it's
a
good
idea
to
yiggle
it
to
make
sure
that it is
securely attached.
IMPORTANT:
Avoid touching
the
glass
surf aces
of the
linder,
eyepiece
and
camera body when
attach
ing
or
removing
the
f
inder
to
protect
aqainst
possible
damage
from f
ingerprints,
dust,
grit
and
grease.
When
absolutely necessary,
use a blower
or
camel's hair
brush
to
remove loose
dust or
qrit
and
ensure
the brightest,
cleanest
image.
