Adjusting
the
Diopter
Correction
Pentax FA-1, FA-1W
and
FA-2 Eye-Level
Finder
Models:
The three
FA
Series
f
inder models offer
built-in diopter correction, a unique
feature for
an
eyelevel
f
inder. To
adjust the diopter to suit
your
vision,
f
irst move
the
f
inder
release lever
counter-clockwise and
gently
slide the
f inder
away
from
the body, until
the diopter
adjustment
screw
is visible.
Then, with
the
f
inder in this
position,
bring
the
camera
up to
your
eye and
point
it
toward a
light
colored surface or
wall.
Using the
tool
packed
with
the
f
inder, turn the adjustment
screw
as shown
in
Fig.
1 until the border
lines
of the
center spot
come
in
sharp and
crisp
(Fig.
2). Remove the tool
and slide the
f inder
toward
the
f ront
of the camera

diopter
range
best suited
for
your
needs.

To
adjust the degree of
diopter with either unit, simply
rotate
the

ring until
the
image comes
