ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO MZ-5 SERVICE MANUAL
Subject: Preparation ror using the optical regulator with
MZ

Position AF
chart
of the optical regulator
as
follows:
1. Loosen
the
cha
rt
shift lever and rotate it
to
the left end,
and then fasten
it
as
shown below.

2. Loosen
the
retainer bolts on the arm, tum the
collimator
so
that AF chart is
set
to vertical

).
and then fasten the bolts.

When rotate the chart shift lever
to
the right end,
make
sure
that AF chart is
set
at
horizontal ( @ ).

When rotate the chart shift lever to the left end,
make
sure
that AF chart is
set
at
vertical
