8 Press the shutter release button fully.
Stops recording movie.
You can switch to the movie capture mode from the still image capture
mode by simply pressing the four-way controller (3).
4 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [ ].
5 Use the four-way controller (45) to select
O (On)/P (Off).
6 Press the shutter release button halfway.
The camera is ready to take movies.
• Off (×1) is the normal setting for movies (approximately 30 frames
per second). Each time ×2 or ×5 is selected, the number of frames
taken per second is reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.
• As movies are normally played back at the rate of approximately
30 frames per second, movies taken at ×2 appear to be played
back at twice the normal speed and movies taken at ×5 appear to
be played back at five times the normal speed.
• Sound cannot be recorded.
Setting to Switch Capture Mode to Movie Capture Mode
• The default setting is set to P (Off).
