X Tips in taking good photographs
• Keep your back to the sunlight— with the
subject frontlit—and, depress shutter button
gently.
• Use the built-in flash often. Use it at parties,
family get-togethers, and other activities
where the lighting leaves much to be desired
for picture-taking. Avoid having highly
reflective background, when using flash, such
as glass or metals.
• The self-timer can add much pleasure to
your picture taking—use it often. The Pentax
PC35AF self-timer possesses a 10-second
delayed shutter release mechanism. Confirm
that the film has been wound, prior to setting
the self-timer.
• Make maximum use of the highly efficient
exposure compensation control to obtain
satisfying pictures under adverse
conditions such as people against a highly
reflective window, a bright sky, at the
seaside in fine weather, or even against a
background of snow, and many other similar
situations.

j A set of fresh batteries is sufficient to power the Pentax PC35AF for one year when using
it in normal photography and at normal temperature. Should this camera be utilized at a
lower temperature, however, battery ability accordingly lowers. In that event, mke some
measure to keep the batteries warm. The Pentax PC35AF mechanism is specially devised
to operate in the tempe rature range of approx. 50°C to -10°C. _ _ _
