After
zooming
and
composing
your
shot
using
the
zooming
lever
or
Instant
tele/wide
button,
position
the
autofocus
frame
(|^)
on
the
subject.

Press
the
shutter
release
button
halfway.
If
the
subject
is
in
focus,
the
green
lamp
should
glow.
If
the
subject
is
closer
than
0.6
meters
(2
ft),
the
green
lamp
flickers.
In
this
case,
release
your
finger
from
the
shutter
release
button
and
lengthen
the
camera-to-
subject
distance.
Then,
press
the
shutter
release
button
halfway
again,
making
sure
the
green
lamp
glows.
Notes:
If
you
wish
to
shift
subject
focus,
release
your
finger
from
the
shutter
release
button
and
repeat
steps
1
and
2
above.
The
shutter
cannot
be
released
while
the
lens
is
zooming.
When
the
red
lamp
glows,
the
flash
will
automatically
fire.
Make
sure
that
the
subject
is
within
the
flash-
effective
range
before
shooting
(refer
to
next
page).
