Why does my Perel CMD01 Metal Detector display false signals?

Your Perel Metal Detector may display false signals if you are sweeping the search coil too fast or at the wrong angle. Try sweeping the search coil more slowly and ensure you are holding the detector correctly. Also, the detector might sound a false signal if it detects heavily oxidised metals. Try pinpointing the target from several different angles. If the detector does not display and sound the same signal each time, the target is probably heavily oxidised metal.
