on the product label and instruction manual prior to operation of this hose reel. The owner/operator shall retain product
instructions for future reference.
The owner and/or operator are responsible for maintenance, maintaining all decals or warning labels and while in use,
maintaining the unit in good working order. If the owner and/or operator are not fluent in English, the product warnings
and instructions shall be read and discussed with the operators’ native language by the purchaser/owner or his
designee. Make sure that the operator comprehends its contents. Safety information shall be emphasized and
understood prior to usage.

1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
PERFORMANCE TOOL® extends only the following warranties, and only to original retail
purchasers. These warranties give specific legal rights. Except where prohibited by local law, the
law of the State of Washington governs all warranties and all exclusions and limitations of
warranties and remedies. There may be other rights which vary from state to state.
PERFORMANCE TOOL® warrants the product to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use and service. A defective product may be returned for a free
replacement within 90 days from the date of purchase, provided that product is returned to place of
purchase immediately after discovery of defect. After 90 days and up to one year from date of
purchase, PERFORMANCE TOOL® will replace at no charge any parts which our examination
shall disclose to be defective and under warranty. These warranties shall be valid only when a
sales receipt showing the date of purchase accompanies the defective product or defective part(s)
being returned. For part(s) after 90 days, please remit your request, postage prepaid to:

These warranties exclude blades, bits, punches, dies, bulbs, fuses, hoses, and other consumables
which must be replaced under normal use and service. These warranties shall not apply to any
product or part which is used for a purpose for which it is not designed, or which has been repaired
or altered in any way so as to affect adversely its performance or reliability, nor shall these
warranties apply to any product or part which has been subject to misuse, neglect, accident or
wear and tear incident to normal use and service.
PERFORMANCE TOOL® does not authorize any other person to make any warranty or to assume
any liability in connection with its products.
Except for warranties of title and the limited express warranties set forth above, PERFORMANCE
TOOL® makes no express or implied warranties of any kind with respect to its products. In
particular, PERFORMANCE TOOL® makes no implied warranty of merchantability and no implied
warranty of fitness for any particular purpose, except that for goods purchased primarily for
personal, family or household use and not for commercial or business use, PERFORMANCE
TOOL® makes an implied warranty of merchantability (and, if otherwise applicable, an implied
warranty of fitness for a particular purpose), but only for the particular qualities or characteristics,
and for the duration, expressly warranted above. The laws on limitation of implied warranties may
differ from state to state, so the above limitations may not apply in all cases.
PERFORMANCE TOOL® shall not be liable for consequential, incidental or special damages
resulting from or in any manner related to any product, or to the design, use, or any inability to use
the product. The sole and exclusive remedy for a defective product or part shall be the repair, or
replacement thereof as provided above. The laws on limitation of remedies or on consequential,
incidental or special damages may vary from state to state, so the above limitations may not apply
in all cases.

Overview

The Digital Laser Tachometer, Stock Number W89719, is a non-contact rotation speed measurement device that utilizes anti-interference, photoelectric, semiconductor laser, and microcomputer (CPU) technologies. It is designed for measuring rotating speed and counting, offering a wide measuring range and high resolution.

Function Description:

The primary function of this device is to measure the rotational speed (RPM) of objects without physical contact and to perform counting tests. It can automatically save the measured maximum, minimum, and last displayed values. The device is powered by a single 9V battery, designed for long-term continuous operation due to its energy-saving performance. A battery indicator signals when the power voltage is low. The tachometer features a streamlined design with durable and high-quality electronic components, housed in a light and solid ABS casing for extended service life.

Usage Features:

The device is operated through a simple interface with a Memory (MEM) button and a Test (TEST) button.

  • Test Function Mode:
    • Rotating Speed Test: To initiate, open the battery chamber, install the 9V battery, and replace the cover. Hold the MEM button until "RPM" or "COUNT" character appears, select "RPM," then release. Hold the TEST button to begin measurement. After stopping, the LCD displays the last test data for 10 seconds before turning off.
    • Count Test Mode: Similar to the RPM test, but select "COUNT" character while holding the MEM button. Hold the COUNT button to enter the count test state. The last test data is displayed for 10 seconds after stopping.
  • MEM Record Data Function Switching:
    • To select the desired mode (RPM or COUNT), hold the MEM button until the character appears, then release.
    • Saved Data Browse: Press the MEM button once to display the actual data of the last test. Press it again to display "1" (indicating the last test data), and then cycle through the maximum (MAX), minimum (MIN), and average (AVE) data of the test.
  • Safety Warning: Users are cautioned not to directly shine the light beam from the device into the eyes of humans or animals to prevent injury.

Maintenance Features:

The device is covered by a 1-year limited warranty for original retail purchasers.

  • Warranty Coverage: The product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.
  • Replacement Policy:
    • Within 90 days of purchase: Defective products can be returned to the place of purchase for a free replacement immediately after defect discovery.
    • After 90 days and up to one year: PERFORMANCE TOOL® will replace defective parts at no charge, provided a sales receipt showing the purchase date accompanies the returned product/part. For parts after 90 days, requests should be remitted, postage prepaid, to PERFORMANCE TOOL, P.O. Box 88259 Tukwila, WA 98138.
  • Exclusions: The warranty excludes consumables (blades, bits, punches, dies, bulbs, fuses, hoses), products used for unintended purposes, repaired or altered products, or those subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, or normal wear and tear.
  • Limitations: The warranty does not authorize others to make warranties or assume liability. PERFORMANCE TOOL® disclaims all other express or implied warranties, except for implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose for goods purchased primarily for personal, family, or household use, limited to the qualities and duration expressly warranted.
  • Remedy: The sole and exclusive remedy for a defective product or part is repair or replacement. PERFORMANCE TOOL® is not liable for consequential, incidental, or special damages.

The owner/operator is responsible for studying all warnings, operating, and maintenance instructions. If not fluent in English, the warnings and instructions should be read and discussed in their native language to ensure comprehension.
