WARNING: THIS SPRAYER IS DESIGNED TO APPLY CHEMICALS THAT MAY BE HARMFUL AND COULD CAUSE
SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY IF INHALED OR BROUGHT INTO CONTACT WITH THE USER OR OTHER INDIVIDUALS
OR ANIMALS. FAILURE TO READ THE MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS AND WATCH THE SAFETY VIDEOS PRIOR TO USE
FOR THIS PRODUCT COULD RESULT IN MAJOR INJURY OR DEATH.
1. Using a cart sprayer can be dangerous. Please read these instructions carefully before using for your protection and the
protection of others.
2. Minors should not be allowed to use this sprayer. Do not use if bystanders or animals are nearby.
3. Using this sprayer under dangerous conditions may cause injury to you, others, or property. Do not modify the sprayer in any
way that is not explicitly recommended in PETRATOOLS videos or instructions.
4. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with non-slip soles. Always wear proper protective clothing and gloves when handling or
spraying chemicals. Always wear proper eye and respiratory protection in accordance with the chemical manufacturer’s
instructions.
5. If chemicals start to leak when you are using the sprayer, make sure to tighten all connection points, and use PTFE tape to
secure all connection points. If any chemicals get on your skin, wash them off immediately as directed by the chemical manu-
facturer’s instructions.
6. Whenever you are dealing with chemicals, always follow and refer to their safety instructions.
7. After using the sprayer, we recommend taking a shower to rinse yourself completely off.
1. Never operate a PetraTools sprayer if it is damaged or not completely assembled. Carefully inspect the sprayer prior to use to
make sure there are no leaks and use the included tape to secure connection points. Also, always wear proper safety equipment
and avoid breathing in sprayed chemicals or letting them touch your skin.
2. Don’t use water-insoluble powders or chemicals (they can damage the sprayer). Only use liquid chemicals.
3. Don’t spray liquids over 109 °F or less than 20 °F.
4. Don’t use the sprayer without the inlet strainer in. The strainer protects the pump from damaging debris.
5. Make sure to wipe off your sprayer prior to use if you spill chemicals on it while filling. If any spilled liquids come in contact with
the battery, remove the battery and dry the terminals and support bracket thoroughly (See battery removal instructions).
6. Always make sure that the tank lid is tight after filling and before using or transporting.
7. Avoid using your sprayer when it is windy out.
8. When you are flushing/cleaning the tank, it is recommended that you follow your chemical manufacturer’s instructions carefully
to prevent damage to the sprayer, any people, or the environment.
9. If you are going to have your sprayer in freezing temperatures, you MUST remove all liquid from the tank, hoses, handles, and
attachments to prevent damage to the pump or other parts.
10. The battery should be fully charged before storing and also recharged every three months when not being used (refer to the
battery maintenance section). You should store the charger in a dry, ventilated area.
11. Put 2 gallons of warm water into the tank to help prime the pump.
