If fully charged, the LED voltmeter will be
pointed to the green zone. If the battery
requires charging, you will see the red light
indicating low charged. Charge fully by
plugging into 110V outlet and allow battery 6 -
8 hours to charge. If the voltmeter is not
operating upon arrival, fill the tank with water
and run the unit for at least 30 minutes to
activate.

Attach your valve handle to the hose by
screwing the male thread onto the female
thread clockwise until fully tightened. Squeeze
the trigger to spray and use the trigger-lock for
extended convenient spraying.
Connecting your hose
Screw your wand onto the end of the handle
tightly, again using included teflon/plumber's
tape at the connection point.

Apply teflon tape to all connection points on the
hose, handle and nozzle. Any battery powered
sprayer operates under high pressure, which
means that there is always potential for leaks.
Using the teflon tape at all connection points
prior to spraying will reduce leak points.
Importance of using
teflon/plumber’s tape
To switch on the HD2000, turn the variable
pressure switch to the right and then you’ll hear
the battery running, so that means the sprayer
is working. For full pressure, you can turn the
variable pressure switch all the way to the right
then turn it all the way to the left to turn off the
sprayer.
Your HD2000 battery arrives partially
charged. We recommend charging your unit
6-8 hours before using the first time.
02
When first using your sprayer, pour 1 gallon of
warm water into the tank in order to prime the
pump. Turn sprayer on and fully spray out the
water. Failure to prime the pump in this way
can cause low initial pump performance.
Run clean water through your sprayer to remove any chemicals that were used and drain all liquid from the hose and handle as much as possible by
squeezing the trigger for several seconds. Do not store any chemicals in the tank or leave the sprayer in direct sunlight or freezing temperatures.
Visit www.petratools.com/start for further cleaning and storage tips. Connect your sprayer to the charger after each use and avoid letting your battery
get fully depleted or letting it sit for a long period of time without a charge (3 months or less).
After use, follow these instructions:
Charging your sprayer before use
Priming the sprayer pump
