Changing
the sewing
lamp
Switch
off the main
switch
Disconnect
the
mains plug
and the
foot
control
plug from
the machine.
• Take
off the removable
accessory
tray
(15).
The sewing
lamp
is located inside
the
left
side
of the
sewing machine
Removal:
Hold
the sewing
machine tightly.
I
• Push
the lamp
into
its
socket
as
far
as
it will
go.
• At
the same time,
turn
the lamp
a
half
turn anticlockwise
and
remove
it.
Insertion:
• Insert the
amp in
the
diagonal
socket
and
turn it
so
that both
stops of
the
lamp
engage.
• Now
push the
lamp fully into
the
socket
and
turn it clockwise
so that
it is held
firmly.
Note:
The
lamp changer
(available
as a
special
accessory)
will
make changing
the
lamp
much easier.
Important!
The maximum
permissible
wattage
of
the lamp with
a
plug-in
socket is
15
watts!
