Be careful when sewing that your fingers will not be injured by the needle.
Pull out the power cord plug when changing parts, cleaning, or leaving the machine.
Connect the machine socket to the wall socket and press the master switch.
Press the pedal to start sewing; speed increases with pedal depression.
Disengage mechanism, raise pins, thread spool, wind bobbin, disengage when full.
Insert filled bobbin into case, thread unreels to back, draw thread into slot B and spring.
Push bobbin case onto stud B, ensure slot C points upwards, release latch A.
Thread spool, draw through slot A, guide B, take-up lever 1, guide C, and thread guide D.
Use needle threader control 18; draw thread under fingers A and B, release control.
Hold needle thread taut, turn balance wheel toward you to move needle down and up, pull bobbin thread left.
Turn outer ring to select straight or zigzag stitch desired above mark A.
Adjust upper and lower tensions using regulating screw. Correct tension for bobbin case.
Loosen screw A, pull out old needle, insert new needle with flat shank to back, tighten screw.
Push red button A to release. Ensure studs B enter slots C when attaching.
Attach buttonhole foot, insert filler cord over rear lug G, clamp in front lug H.
