Why does my Philips LCD TV have black spots on the screen?
    • J
      Jennifer GarciaSep 23, 2025
The occasional appearance of black spots on the screen of your Philips LCD TV is characteristic of the liquid crystal panel and is not a problem. The liquid crystal panel is built with very high and precision technology giving you the fine picture details. Occasionally, a few non-active pixels may appear on the screen as a fixed point of red, blue, green or black. This does not affect the performance of the set.

Also, check the POWER button on the remote. Verify that the euroconnector cables or aerial sockets are properly connected.
