HOTEL/HOSPITAL
When application is HOTEL/HOSPITAL, the following are activated.
$ Last status is disabled
$ Limited Consumer Menu
When in PBS mode, the guest can display the Consumer Menu, to adjust TV parameters.
However, these settings should not be stored.
$ Child lock and timers (except sleeptimer) are disabled.
Note: D The default application for TV should be HOTEL/HOSPITAL, while that for monitor should be BUSINESS
MONITOR.
SWITCH ON
SWITCH ON VOLUME
When the guest switches the TV ON, it will play at the specified volume level.
$ LAST STATUS
The TV will be automatically switched to the last status whenever the mains power is turned
on.
$ USER DEFINED
The guest can choose his/her preference volume level.
MAX VOLUME
This option specifies the maximum allowable volume level of the TV.
Note: D SW ON VOLUME cannot exceed the MAX VOLUME level. When adjust SW ON VOLUME, current
volume will be altered simultaneously.
SWITCH ON CHANNEL
When the guest switches the TV ON, it will play at the specified channel.
$ LAST STATUS
The TV will be automatically switched to the last status whenever the mains power is turned
on.
$ USER DEFINED
The guest can choose his/her preference channel.
POWER ON
This function allows the TV to enter a specific mode of operation (On, Standby, or Last Status)
after the mains power is activated.
$ ON
When set, the TV will always turn ON after the mains power is enabled.
$ STANDBY
When set, the TV will always turn to STANDBY after mains power is enabled.
$ LAST STATUS
The TV will be automatically switched to the last status (either STANDBY or ON) whenever
the mains power is turned on.
DISPLAY MESSAGE
Choose this function to enable or disable the Welcome Message.
$ OFF
Disables the display of the Welcome Message.
$ ON
Enables display of the Welcome Message for 30 seconds after the TV set is turned on.
Note: D If OSD DISPLAY is set to OFF, then the Welcome Message is automatically disabled.
