Function Description

The Philips 5704 and 5604 series televisions are smart TVs powered by Android TV. They provide access to a world of content, including movies, shows, and games from Google Play, as well as various apps. The integrated Google Assistant allows for voice control to quickly access entertainment, get answers, and manage smart home devices. Users can switch between digital (DTV), analog (NTSC), and CATV channels, and connect external devices such as Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and PCs via HDMI, composite video, or USB. Usage Features

Google Assistant: Press the Assistant button on the remote or say "Hey Google" to activate voice commands for searching content, controlling the TV, and managing smart home devices.

Google Play: Access thousands of movies, shows, games, and apps from Google Play.

Channel Management:

Autoprogram: Automatically scans and memorizes available channels.
Customize Channel List: Skip or unskip channels.

Picture and Sound Customization:

Picture style: Select from User, Standard, Vivid, Sports, Movie, Game, and Energy saving modes. Advanced settings include Backlight, Brightness, Contrast, Color, Tint, Sharpness, Gamma, Color Temperature, Picture Format, Dynamic contrast, 4K UHD Upscaling, Macro Dimming, Noise reduction, MPEG artifact reduction, Film mode, Blue Stretch, Game Mode, PC Mode, HDMI RGB Range, Custom color management, and 11 Point White Balance Correction.
Sound style: Select from User, Standard, Vivid, Sports, Movie, Music, and News modes. Advanced settings include Dialog enhancement, Bass enhancement, Surround sound, Equalizer Detail, and Auto volume leveling.
Picture format: Adjust the aspect ratio to Automatic, Full, Unscaled, 4:3, or Movie expand.

Parental Controls: Block children's access to inappropriate programs using a rating lock (MPAA film ratings, TV ratings, Canadian English/French ratings) and PIN code. Inputs can also be blocked.

Connectivity Features:

HDMI Control (CEC): Control HDMI-link devices with the TV remote.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning:

Clean the front panel and other exterior surfaces with a soft microfiber cloth or lens brush.
Disconnect the AC power cord before cleaning.
Avoid using solvents, alcohol, or insecticide liquid.
Do not spray liquids directly on the screen or exterior surfaces to prevent shorts, electric shocks, or fire damage.

Servicing:

Should the unit become inoperative, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact the customer care center at 1-866-309-5962 or check the Philips website for chat support.
The remote control's IR signal can be checked using a digital or cell phone camera to verify functionality.

Software Updates:

The TV automatically downloads and installs the latest applications for the best user experience. Users can manually check for system updates via Settings > Device Preferences > About > System update.

Reset:

Perform a factory reset via Storage & reset to erase all data, Google account, system and app data, settings, and downloaded apps. This can also reset a forgotten PIN code.

Environmental Care:

The product packaging is recyclable. Contact local authorities for recycling information.
The TV contains recyclable and reusable materials. Dispose of old TVs according to local regulations.
Used batteries should be disposed of according to local regulations, as they may contain heavy metals.

Safety Precautions:
