• Remove the filter before descaling the
coffee maker.
• Only use the water filter in a Philips “Café
Cino” coffee maker (types HD 7402-06).
How to install and use
- Remove the plastic packaging. Rinse the new
water filter well with tap water. Then place it into
the lower part of the special cassette (fig. 14).
- Close the two sections of the cassette together
(fig. 15).
- Place the cassette with the filter into the water
reservoir of the coffee maker (fig. 16).
- Slide the indicator to the cipher which
corresponds to the month (january = 1,
february = 2, etc.) (fig. 17).
This reminds you of when you have placed the
filter, so that you can replace it timely.
- For coffee making pour the water into the water
reservoir via the filter cassette opening (fig. 2b).
Water filter replacement
- Replace the filter every three months. Never
use the filter longer than six months.
- When replacing, always follow the instructions
in section “How to install and use”.
- You can dispose of the old water filter as
normal domestic waste.
• When replacing the water filter, it is advisable to
also descale your coffee maker.
Cleaning
- Rinse the cassette with water only.
- Do not clean the filter in a dish washer.
