Safety Information
• Do not place the sensor on extremities with an arterial catheter or intravascular venous infusion
line.
• Where applicable, do not use more than one extension cable. Do not use an extension cable with
Philips reusable sensors or adapter cables with part numbers ending in -L (which indicates
“Long” version).
• To avoid electrical interference, position the sensor cable and connector away from power
cables.
• To dispose of pulse oximeter equipment or components, follow local regulations regarding
disposal of hospital waste.
