Safety Information
• The spring-loaded door over the CO
2
input connector protects the CO
2
module from dust and
fluid, which can cause blockages. If the spring-loaded door is broken, contact your system
administrator.
• The following conditions may cause inaccurate CO
2
measurements:
- Incorrect application of CO
2
accessories.
- Using the monitor in environments that do not meet recommended temperature, humidity,
and altitude environments.
- Some patient conditions, such as abnormal pulmonary perfusion or pulmonary disease.
• If you change the patient type during CO
2
measurements, it will take up to 30 seconds for the
system to reinitialize.
• Only use Microstream™ etCO
2
sampling lines to ensure the monitor functions properly. Before
use, carefully read the Microstream™ etCO
2
sampling lines Instructions for Use.
