About the EarlyVue VS30 Monitor

Note
This document includes information on functions and features that are not available on
all VS30 monitors, depending on the options ordered with your monitor, or options that
may be available only in selected countries. For information specific to your region,
please contact your local Philips representative.
The EarlyVue VS30 is a vital signs monitor that measures blood pressure, pulse rate,
oxygen saturation (SpO
2
), total hemoglobin (SpHb®), carbon dioxide (CO
2
), respiration
rate, and temperature. Features include:
Touch screen controls
Monitor to monitor communication
On-device Early Warning Scoring (EWS), including Modified Early Warning Scores
(MEWS) and Single Parameter Scores (SPS)
Supports adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient types
Spot Check, Interval, and Continuous measurement modes, with option to configure a
No Alarm mode
Blood pressure modes, including manual start and stop, auto intervals, and user-
defined interval programs
SpO
2
pleth waveform
•CO

waveform (if CO

is installed) or RRa™ waveform (if Masimo rainbow® acoustic
respiration RRa is installed)
Compatible with optional temporal and predictive temperature probes
Data export via wired LAN, wireless LAN, or serial connection
QuickCapture for configuring the parameters and observations/assessments to be
captured when monitoring patients
QuickAlerts for automatically calculating configurable Early Warning Scoring (MEWS
and SPS)
QuickCheck for assigning configurable workflows
Stores up to 1,000 patient records
Automatic deletion of successfully exported records after a configurable time period
Direct communication with electronic health record (EHR) systems using HL7
standards
Optional wireless network connection
Lithium ion battery
Optional print recorder
Available 2D or RFID (Radio Frequency ID) barcode scanner for automatic entry of
patient information and user IDs
Optional Masimo rainbow SET and Masimo rainbow® measurements: acoustic
respiration (RRa) and/or non-invasive total hemoglobin (SpHb)
Optional roll stand or wall mount
The VS30 monitor does not support defibrillation synchronization.
