Navigation Controls
The following table describes how to use the navigation controls on the VS30 monitor.
EarlyVue VS30 Documentation
The following EarlyVue VS30 documentation is provided on Philips InCenter or on a
Documentation CD shipped with your monitor:
• EarlyVue VS30 Vital Signs Monitor Instructions for Use — Provides information for
day-to-day operation of the monitor. Also includes safety information, monitor
specifications, and a list of compatible accessories.
• EarlyVue VS30 Vital Signs Monitor Quick Card — Provides brief descriptions of
commonly used VS30 monitor functions.
• EarlyVue VS30 with Masimo® Vital Signs Monitor Instructions for Use — Provides
information for operation of the Masimo SET® and Masimo rainbow SET™ options on
the VS30 monitor. Includes safety information, alarm messages, specifications, and a
list of compatible accessories.
• EarlyVue VS30 Vital Signs Monitor Installation and Configuration Guide —
Provides instructions for unpacking, installing, and connecting all hardware. Presents
initial testing and configuration procedures, including how to configure the
QuickCheck feature. Also includes instructions for returning the monitor.
• EarlyVue VS30 Vital Signs Monitor HL7 Data Export Guide — Provides detailed
information about the syntax and structure of the HL7 messages that are exported
from the VS30 monitor.
• EarlyVue VS30 Vital Signs Monitor Network Configuration Guide — Provides
instructions for configuring your VS30 monitor to connect to a network using a wired
LAN connection, a wireless LAN connection, or an RS-232 serial adapter.
Action Description
Touch Touch a screen element to select it, to open a menu, or to initiate an
action. Screen elements include buttons, icons, numeric panes, menus,
and tabs. For more information, see Chapter 2, “Basic Operation.”
Touch
scroll bars
To scroll to the next or previous content in a long list, do one of the
following:
• Touch the scroll bar’s down or up arrow. Holding the arrow cause the
scroll to be continuous.
• Touch the empty part of the scroll bar.
Press Press the On/Standby button on right side of monitor.
Enter Touch an editable field to display the on-screen keyboard or numeric
keypad. Touch the keys to enter the values and then touch OK to close
the keyboard or keypad.
