Set up EasyLink (HDMI-CEC
control)
This product supports Philips EasyLink, which
uses the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics
Control) protocol. EasyLink-compliant devices
that are connected through HDMI can be
controlled by a single remote control.

•
100% interoperability with all HDMI-CEC devices is not
guaranteed.
• Depending on the manufacturer, HDMI-CEC is known
by many names. For information on your device, see
the user manual of the device.
Before you start
• Connect this product to the HDMI-
CEC compliant device through HDMI
connection.
• Make the necessary connections described
in the quick start guide, and then select the
correct audio source for the connected
device.
• On your TV and other connected devices,
turn on HDMI-CEC control. For details, see
the user manual of the TV or other devices.
EasyLink controls
With EasyLink, you can control this product, TV,
and other connected HDMI-CEC compliant
devices with a single remote control.
• One-touch standby: This product can
switch to standby with the remote control
of the TV or other HDMI-CEC devices.
On the remote control of this product,
press and hold
for at least three seconds
to switch all connected HDMI-CEC
compliant devices to standby.
6 Update software
To get the best features and support, update
your product with the latest software.
Check software version

Launch Philips “HCWeSet” app on your
mobile device.
• Make sure that you connect this
product to the network.
2 Go to the App home page.
3 Tap to access the menu options.
4 Select “My Speakers”.
» The connected devices are listed.
5 Then select “About”.
» The software version number together
with other product information is
displayed.
Note
•
With this product connected to the network, when
software update is detected, the orange LED on this
product lights up.
• The upgrade time may take around 3 minutes.
Update software via Internet

Launch Philips “HCWeSet” app on your
mobile device.
• Make sure that you connect this
product to the network.
2 Go to the App home page.
3 Tap to access the menu options.
4 Select “My Speakers”.
» The connected devices are listed.
5 Select the name of this product, then select
“Software Update” > “Network”.
