Preparing for use
Preparing treatment areas
1 Before each treatment, shave the areas you intend to
treat as long as hairs continue to grow back.
Note: Do not use depilatory creams instead of shaving. If
you remove the hairs by the root with another depilation
method (e.g. waxing or an epilator), you can start treatment
immediately.
2 Make sure that your skin is dry, clean and free from
deodorants, creams, lotions or perfumes.
3 Check the light exit window and the skin colour
sensor for hairs, dust and bres. If necessary, clean
the light exit window and the skin colour sensor
with a dry, soft dry lint-free cloth.
Note: When the hairs no longer grow back, you can stop
shaving.
Skin colour and light intensity
Philips Lumea Comfort has ve different intensity levels.
Check the table below for the intensity level that suits
your skin and hair colour. ‘x’ means that the appliance is
not suitable for you. If your skin is too dark, the skin colour
sensor prevents the emission of ashes.
