The primary function of the Philips TAE4205 is to provide wireless audio playback from a Bluetooth-enabled device. When a call comes in, users can answer, reject, or end the call directly from the headphones, seamlessly switching between music and calls.

Then, the multi-function button is pressed and held for more than 6 seconds until the blue and white LEDs flash alternately, indicating pairing mode. The headphones remain in pairing mode for 5 minutes. Once in pairing mode, users can select "Philips TAE4205" from their mobile phone's Bluetooth settings. The headphones store the last four paired devices in memory, and if a fifth device is paired, the earliest paired device is replaced.
