Eine weitere äußerst hilfreiche Eigenschaft des PIEPS
DSP bietet Ihnen die SCAN-Funktion. Drücken
Sie im SEARCH-Modus die SCAN-Taste und das
Gerät beginnt den gesamten Empfangsbereich
abzuscannen. Bleiben Sie während des SCAN-
Ablaufes ruhig stehen und halten Sie das Gerät
ruhig. Dadurch erhalten Sie einen Überblick
aller verschütteten Geräte innerhalb der
Gerätereichweite in drei Gruppierungen:
Anzeige 1: innerhalb einer Entfernung von ca. 5m
Anzeige 2: innerhalb einer Entfernung von ca. 20m
Anzeige 3: innerhalb einer Entfernung von ca. 50m
Alle Informationen von zuvor “ausgeblendeten”
Signalen werden hierbei zurückgesetzt, und Sie
können mit dem “Ausblenden” (MARK) neu
beginnen.
WICHTIG! Nachdem Sie alle Verschütteten
lokalisiert haben, bewegen Sie sich sternförmig
von den Verschüttungspunkten weg und prüfen
Sie mit der SCAN-Funktion nochmals das Szenario.
Damit können Sie sicherstellen, dass Ihr PIEPS-DSP
keinen Verschütteten “übersehen” hat.
SEARCH-MODUS / SCAN-FUNKTION
Another highly useful feature of the PIEPS DSP
is the SCAN function. Press the SCAN key in the
SEARCH mode and the device will begin scanning
the entire receiving range. During the scan, stand
still and hold the device steady. This will give you
an overview of all the buried devices within the
detectable range, classied according to three
groups:
Reading 1: within a distance of approx. 5m
Reading 2: within a distance of approx. 20m
Reading 3: within a distance of approx. 50m
All information from previously suppressed signals
is now reset and you can start the suppression
again (MARK).
IMPORTANT! Once you have located all burials,
move away from their locations in a star shape and
use the SCAN function to check the scenario again.
That way you can make sure you haven’t missed
any other burials.
