ELECTRICAL SAFETY class 2 USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
1 Remove all of the packaging.
2 Wash the parts: see “cleaning”.
3 8-12 hours in advance, place the freezer bowl into a freezer.
4 Prepare the ice cream or sorbet mix (see recipe ideas). Allow the mix to cool
in the refrigerator
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
e wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE - NEUTRAL
BROWN - LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with
the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
e wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
e wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
NEITHER CORE should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug marked
with the letter E or coloured GREEN and YELLOW.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be tted. If any other
type of plug is used a 3 amp fuse must be tted either in the plug or at the distribution
board.
1 Fit the power unit into the lid, It will click into place.
2 Fit the paddle into the power unit.
3 Remove the freezer bowl from the freezer.
4 Lower the assembled lid/power unit/paddle onto the freezer bowl and turn
clockwise to lock into position
