1.7 How to wash and sterilize

Precautions
※ Please disassemble all parts before washing and sterilizing.
※ The motor, power adapter, USB power cord, and tube cannot
be washed and sterilized. Doing so may cause a malfunction.
Please wipe with a dry cloth.
• Be sure to wash and sterilize the product before the fi rst use.
• Please wash the product promptly after use. It is recommended to use
the “PIGEON Liquid Cleanser”.
• Be sure to sterilize each part after washing.
• The breast pump contains many small parts. Please be careful not to
lose the small parts during washing.
• Use a soft brush for washing.
• Parts made of silicone rubber may be damaged or scratched if they
are handled roughly. Please handle with care.
• If the pump body or tube become dirty, apply a diluted neutral detergent
to a cloth and wipe clean.
Boiling sterilization
• Boil the thoroughly-washed parts in a pot of boiling
water for 5 minutes.
• Immerse the parts to be sterilized completely in water.
Do not allow them to come into contact with the sides of
the pot. Doing so will cause deformation or damage.
• Do not boil excessively. Doing so can shorten the lifespan
of the parts.
