instail the unit in a weil-ventilated location where it will not be
exposed to high temperatures or humidity.
Do not install the unit in a location which is exposed to direct rays
of the sun, ar near hot appliances or radiators. Excessive heat can
adversely affect the cabinet and internal components. Installation
of the unit in a damp or dusty environment may result in a
malfunction or accident. (Also avoid installation near cookers, etc.,
where the unit may be exposed to smoke from oil, steam, or heat.)
Do not instail the unit on a tottered stand, nor on an unstable or
inclined surface.
| Precautions regarding installation
Placing and using the unit for long periods on heat-generating
sources wiil affect performance. Avoid placing the unit on heat-
generating sources.
@instail the unit as far away as possible from your TV. Installation
in close proximity to such equipment may cause noise or
degradation of the picture.
@Such noise may be particularly noticeable when an indoor
antenna is used. In such cases, make use of an outdoor antenna,
or turn off the power of the unit.
Please place this unit on a level surface.
Ventilation
There is a cooling fan in the rear of this unit. If the exhaust vent
is blocked, heat will build up inside, interfering with perfarmance
or causing malfunctions. Therefore, make sure to leave space
between the unit and walls and other equipment to improve
heat radiation (at least 20 cm at top, 15 cm at rear, 15cm at left
side, and 15 cm on right side (looking from the front)).

When this unit is brought inte a warm room from previously cold
surroundings or when the room temperature rises sharply,
condensation may form inside and the unit may not be abie to
attain its full performance. To prevent this, allow the unit to stand
for about an hour before switching it om cr raise the room
temperature gradually,
