HANDLING AND SERVICING
5 Chock both main gear wheels.
6 Tie down airplane.
7 Install a pitot head cover.

Fold the bottom part of the seat up (vertically) to prevent any mois-
ture from accumulating below the seat.

Cabin and baggage doors should be locked. Lock doors at own
discretion.
CAUTION: Care should be taken when setting overheated brakes or during
cold weather when accumulated moisture may freeze a brake.
8.6.4. TIEDOWN
1 Head the airplane into the wind if possible
2 Retract flaps to (-), retract and lock airbrakes
3 Chock the wheels
4 Attach tie-down rings

Secure tie-down ropes to the wing tie-down rings and to the tail ring
at approximately 45° angles to the ground
CAUTION: Anchor points for wing tie-downs should not be more than 5 m
apart to prevent tie-down rings damage in heavy winds.
8.7 CLEANING
8.7.1. CLEANING EXTERIOR SURFACES
The airplane should be washed with a mild soap and water. Harsh abrasives
or alkaline soaps or detergents could make scratches on painted or plastic
surfaces. Cover static ports and other areas where cleaning solution could
cause damage. Be sure to remove the static port covers before flight.
NOTE: Prior to cleaning, place the airplane in a shaded area to allow the
surfaces to cool.
To wash the airplane, use the following procedure:
