The Pixbee Resti Smart Sleep Helper (PXB-101L) is a versatile device designed to assist with sleep through dynamic lighting and soothing sounds. It offers both manual control and smart control via a dedicated mobile application, as well as voice command integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Function Description:

The Resti Smart Sleep Helper combines a night light with a sound machine, offering a range of features to create a calming environment. Users can choose from various sound modes, select specific sounds, adjust volume, control light brightness and color, and set an auto-off timer. The device is primarily intended for use as a sleep aid, with customizable settings to suit individual preferences or to help children establish sleep routines.

Usage Features:

Manual Control and Functions:

The device features several buttons for direct control:

• Sound Mode: Press repeatedly to cycle through 3 sound modes: Nature, Animal, and Sleep.
• Sound Selection: Press repeatedly to cycle through 10 nature sounds, 7 animal sounds, and 8 sleep sounds.
• Play/Pause: Short press to play or pause sounds.
• Volume Up/Down: Short press to control volume level (16 levels) step by step. Long press to control volume continuously without steps.
• Light Control (On/Off/Brightness): Short press to turn the night light on/off. Long press to adjust brightness.
• Auto Off Timer: Repeatedly press to cycle through 30 mins, 60 mins, 120 mins, 240 mins, or Off. When the timer expires, all sounds, night light, and indicators will turn off. Long press to cancel the Auto Off Timer, turning off the timer indicator.
• Wi-Fi Connection (On/Off/Pairing): Short press to turn Wi-Fi on/off. Once on, press and hold until the indicator flashes blue to begin pairing. The Wi-Fi indicator shows: Solid Red for connection failed/offline, and Solid Blue for connected.

Smart Control via the App (Pixbee SmartLife App):

The Pixbee SmartLife App, available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store, allows for comprehensive control and customization.

• Pairing: Requires a secure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth enabled on the smart device. The device enters Pairing Mode automatically when plugged in; if not, the Wi-Fi button needs to be pressed and held until it flashes blue.
• Default Modes: Select from 7 pre-set modes with default light and sound settings.
• Customised Modes: Add up to 5 customized settings for light and sound.
• Sound Control: Play/pause, previous/next track, and volume adjustment.
• Sound Modes: Access 10 nature sounds, 7 animal sounds, and 8 soothing sounds.
• Colour and Brightness: Slide controls to adjust light color and brightness.
• Timer: Set a timer for the device.
• Schedule: Create alarms for wake-up or bedtime routines. Users can name alarms, set turn-on/off times, repeat days, and select specific light and sound settings. A "Toddler Lock" feature is also available.
• Child Lock: On/Off control for the child lock feature.

Voice Commands:

The Resti Smart Sleep Helper can be controlled using voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

• Amazon Alexa:
  • Power: "Alexa, turn on resti." / "Alexa, turn off resti."
  • Brightness: "Alexa, set/make the resti to (1-100) percent."
  • Colour: "Alexa, set/make the resti to (colour)." (Colours include red, green, blue, orange, yellow, etc.)
  • Sound Volume: "Alexa, set the volume of the resti to (1-100)."
• Google Assistant:
  • Power: "Hey Google, turn on resti." / "Hey Google, turn off resti."
  • Brightness: "Hey Google, set/make the resti to (1-100) percent."
  • Colour: "Hey Google, set/make the resti to (colour)." (Colours include red, green, blue, orange, yellow, etc.)

Maintenance Features:

• Cleaning: Use only a dry cloth to clean and remove dust.
• Storage: If not in use for prolonged periods, disconnect the power supply and store the device in a clean and dry place.
• Safety Precautions:
  • Use only the supplied USB Type-C cable and AC power adaptor.
  • The LED light cannot be replaced; dismantling or modifying the device will void the warranty.
  • Avoid placing or operating the product near extreme heat sources, damp surroundings, or corrosive materials.
  • Always unplug the power cord prior to installation or performing any maintenance or repair work.
  • The product is not waterproof and not designed for rugged use.
  • Follow local regulations for disposal and recycling.
