NOTICE! After the installation of the water supply and wastewater
disposal, all water hose connections – even on the appliance itself – must
be checked for leakage. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage
caused by improper installation.
8.5 Programme « DRUM CLEAN »
Contaminations and bacterial residues may accumulate in the drum and / or
hoses of the appliance after some time, especially then you mainly use low
temperature programmes.
The drum should be cleaned at least once a month.
The programme « DRUM CLEAN » cleans the outside and inside of the drum.
You can add an adequate amount of chlorine bleach to the appliance to clean the
drum (please always observe the instructions given by the manufacturer of
the chlorine bleach).
Do not use any additional washing agent.
Do not wash any textiles / laundry when using this programme.
HOW TO START THE PROGRAMME « DRUM CLEAN »
1 Open the water tap.
2 Close the door of the appliance.
3 Switch on the appliance using the « ON / OFF » - BUTTON. The appliance is now
switched on and in STANDBY MODE.
4 Press the « PROGRAMME » - BUTTON repeatedly until the operational status
indicator of the programme « DRUM CLEAN » goes on.
5 The time display indicates the duration of the programme (hours : minutes)

6 Press the « START / PAUSE » - BUTTON to start the cleaning programme.
7 The door lock will be activated automatically. The operational status indicator
of the door lock « » goes on.
8 When the cleaning programme is finished, the display indicates « END » and an
acoustic signal sounds (if activated).
9 The door lock is deactivated automatically after approx. 2 minutes. The
operational status indicator of the door lock « » goes off.
10 Switch off the appliance using the « ON / OFF » - BUTTON.
11 Close the water tap.
