OPERATION
Engine Stop Switch
To stop the engine in an emer-
gency, push down on the stop
switch (A). This will ground out
the ignition and bring the engine
to a quick stop. To re-start the
engine, the switch must be
pulled up to the “On” position.
Check Throttle Safety Switch
Test the throttle safety switch
system on a daily basis before
the machine is used.
While seated in a normal riding
position, and with the engine id-
ling, hold the throttle lever pin
stationary by exerting pressure
on the pivot pin in the direction
shown in the illustration (B). Ap-
ply a slight amount of throttle
opening. A properly functioning
switch must shut down the en-
gine.
