      If your Polaris Offroad Vehicle engine doesn't turn over, it could be due to low battery voltage. Recharge the battery to 12.8 VDC. Also, check for loose battery connections and tighten them. Inspect and tighten loose solenoid connections and loose electronic control box connections. In the last case, inspect, clean, reinstall connectors; blow on EFI fuse to remove impurities. If none of these steps work, it might be a mechanical failure, and you should consult your POLARIS dealer or other qualified person.

      To prevent drive belt wear or burn on your Polaris Offroad Vehicle, avoid driving onto a pickup or tall trailer in high range by using low range during loading. When starting out going up a steep incline, use low range. Drive at a higher speed or use low range more frequently if driving at low RPM or ground speed (3-7 MPH/ 5-11 km/h). Warm the engine at least 5 minutes at low ambient temperatures. Use the throttle quickly and effectively for slow/easy clutch engagement. When hauling heavy cargo/ pushing at low RPM/low ground speed or during utility use/plowing, use low range only. If stuck in mud or snow, shift the transmission to low range and carefully use fast, aggressive throttle application to engage clutch.
