Suspension Lubrication
To maintain rider comfort and to retard wear of the pivot shafts,the suspension piv-
ot shafts should be lubricated with Polaris Premium All Season Grease, PN
2871066, several times during the season and again before summer storage each
year. The riding characteristics of the snowmobilewill be affected by lack of lubrica-
tion of these shafts. NOTE: A grease gun kit complete with grease and adaptors
is available to lubricate all fittings on Polaris snowmobiles. Order PN 2871312.
IMPORTANT: Make it a weekly practice to check for loose bolts and nuts on the
suspension system. If any loose bolts are found on the rail be certain to clean the
threads and apply Loctite 262 before tightening.
