Switches
Main Key Switch
STOP: End all electrical power to the
vehicle.
LIGHTS ON: Turn the headlights on.
The engine stop switch must be in
the RUN position.
PARKING LIGHTS ON: After
starting the engine, release the key
switch to this position. The parking
lights and taillights are on in this position.
START: Start the engine. The headlights are not on in this position. See
page 65 for starting procedures.
Do not attach a large key fob or key ring to the main switch. It may contact the
gas tank cap when turning, causing an interruption to the electrical system and
an unexpected engine shut-down during operation. This could result in serious
injury or death.
Engine Stop Switch
The engine will not start or run when the
switch is in the OFF position.
OFF (STOP)
RUN
Light Switch (High/Low Beam)
Use the light switch to change the
headlights from high beam to low beam.
High Beam
