How to warm up the drive belt on my Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 in cold weather?

To warm up the drive belt on your Polaris Offroad Vehicle in cold weather, warm the engine for at least 5 minutes. With the transmission in neutral, advance the throttle to about 1/8 throttle in short bursts, 5 to 7 times. This will make the belt more flexible and prevent belt burning. Also, always warm up the belt by operating below 30 mph for one mile (5 miles or more when temperature is below freezing).
