Avoid parking on an incline if possible. If it’s unavoidable, follow
these precautions:
1. Turn the engine off.
1. Place the t ransmission in gear.
2. Set the parking brake.
3. Always block the rear wheels on the downhill side. See
illustration.
4. Shut off the fuel supply.
