Coolant Temperature Warning Circuit Operation -- DFIt Models
The water temperature used on DFIt models reads the temperature of the water jacket located around the ex-
haust manifold. The EMM will notify the operator via the MFI gauge when the sensor reads an overheat condition.
To test the sensor, measure the resistance between the black and Pk/Blk pins on the sensor . Refer to the specifi-
cation on wiring diagram.
