Why is my POLTI Steam Cleaner not producing steam?

  Your POLTI Steam Cleaner might not be producing steam for several reasons. It could be that the appliance hasn't reached the correct pressure yet; in this case, wait for the boiler switch (B) to turn off. Another reason could be that there is no water in the boiler; refill it as described in the preparation steps. Also, check that the flexible hose (1) is fully inserted. Finally, ensure that the steam adjustment dial (I) isn't set to the minimum position; adjust it to your desired setting.

  Your POLTI Steam Cleaner might not be turning on because the power cable is not plugged in or the boiler switch is off. Connect the power supply cable to a suitable electric socket and turn on the boiler switch.

  If you notice steam escaping from the safety cap (A) of your POLTI Steam Cleaner, it could be due to a damaged or missing seal; in this case, replace the safety-cap seal. Alternatively, the safety cap may not be fully tightened. To resolve this, turn off the appliance, disconnect it from the power outlet, allow it to cool down completely, and then re-tighten the cap.
