Why is my Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter not cleaning the pool?
    • R
      Ryan AllenAug 12, 2025
If your Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter isn't cleaning the pool effectively, several factors could be responsible. First, ensure that the chlorine level is maintained between 1.0 and 1.6 ppm and the pH level is between 7.3 and 7.8. A dirty filter, damaged cartridge, or low water flow can also cause this issue. Clean or replace the cartridge if needed, and check for obstructions at the strainer basket and in the return hose. It may also be necessary to have your water tested at a pool supply store and add other chemicals due to varying water quality.

How to fix low water flow in Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter?
    • X
      xwalkerAug 19, 2025
To address low water flow in your Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter, start by ensuring the water level is within 1” above or below the center line of the Power Filter Inlet opening. Next, check for any obstructions at the strainer basket and in the return hose. A dirty filter can also restrict flow, so clean or replace the cartridge. If the rotor is jammed, consult the “Rotor Service” diagram in the assembly view of the Filter/Pump unit on page #3.

What to do if Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter motor won't start?
    • S
      Stephanie SchmidtAug 27, 2025
If your Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter motor isn't starting, first ensure the unit is plugged into a 3-wire grounded outlet. Then, reset the GFCI circuit breaker; if the problem persists, have an electrician check the circuit. Also, verify the line voltage is between 105 to 125 AC volts. If the rotor is jammed, refer to the “Rotor Service” diagram in the assembly view of the Filter/Pump unit, page #3.

How to stop water leakage from Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter?
    • R
      Rhonda NelsonSep 4, 2025
To stop water leakage from your Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter, check the return hose, pump to volute housing, and volute housing to filter connections. For the return hose, adjust hose clamps on the cuff, check the O-Ring and retighten, and inspect the hose for holes or cracks. For the pump to volute housing, tighten the screws and check the Pump Gasket for damage. For the volute housing to filter, check the Volute Housing O-Ring for damage. Replace any damaged parts as needed.
