Why is my Polygroup RP600 not cleaning the pool water?
    • T
      Tara AcostaAug 2, 2025
If the Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter isn't cleaning the pool, ensure the chlorine level is between 1.0 and 1.6 ppm and the pH level is between 7.3 and 7.8. Inspect the cartridge for damage and replace it if necessary. Also, check for any obstructions in the suction fitting and return hose fitting. If the pool water is very dirty, run the pump more often, but never when the pool is in use, and clean the filter more often. Consider having your water tested at a pool supply store, as other chemicals may be needed due to varying water quality.

What to do if my Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter motor fails to start?
    • R
      Ricky DuarteAug 9, 2025
If your Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter motor fails to start or kicks on and off, ensure the unit is plugged into a 3-wire grounded outlet with a GFCI type circuit breaker. Reset the circuit breaker; if the problem continues, have an electrician check the circuit. Verify the line voltage is between 105 to 125 AC volts. Also, the rotor might be jammed, in that case refer to the “Rotor Service” diagram in the assembly view of the Filter/Pump unit, page #3.

    • G
      gcrawfordAug 17, 2025
If you experience water leakage from your Polygroup Swimming Pool Filter, check the suction and return hose connection points. Adjust the hose clamp on the cuff, inspect the O-ring, and retighten. Examine the hose for holes or cracks, and replace it if needed. Check the O-ring on the vent screw in the seal top for damage and replace if necessary, lubricating with petroleum jelly. Inspect the O-ring on the seal top retainer/seal top for damage, replace if needed, and lubricate with petroleum jelly. Tighten the screws on the pump to volute housing and check the pump gasket for damage, replacing if needed. Finally, check the volute housing O-ring for damage and replace if necessary.
