ASSEMBLY
INSTALL PILOT HOLE DRILL BIT
CAUTION: Disconnect drill motor from power source and place
switch in the OFF position.
1. Clean and insert shank of drill bit into
the collet of the drill motor (see Fig. 3), until
shank bottoms.
CAUTION: The bit must be fully
bottomed in the collet.
2. Depress spindle lock (A) Fig. 3, and
rotate collet nut (B) Fig. 3, clockwise by
hand until lock engages hole in motor
spindle.
3. While holding spindle lock engaged,
tighten collet nut securely by turning
CLOCKWISE using the
11
/16" wrench
provided.
NEVER TIGHTEN COLLET WITHOUT BIT INSERTED, TO DO SO MAY
CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COLLET.
INSTALL POCKET CUTTING BIT
CAUTION: Disconnect pocket cutting motor from power source and
place switch in the OFF position.
1. Clean and insert shank of pocket cutting bit into the collet of the pocket
cutting motor (see Fig. 4), until shank bottoms.
CAUTION: The bit must be fully bottomed in the collet.
