What to do if bubbles are coming from the inflator or APRV/wing joint of POSEIDON Besea?
    • A
      Anthony RussellAug 4, 2025
If you notice bubbles coming from the inflator or APRV/wing joint of your POSEIDON Diving Instrument, it could be due to a loose valve nut. Check all valve nuts and tighten them firmly by hand if necessary. Alternatively, it may indicate an internal leakage, in which case you should immediately terminate your dive and ascent, and have the Besea serviced by an authorized service center.

Why is the inflator continuously feeding the wing on my POSEIDON Diving Instrument?

      Janice HuffAug 11, 2025
If the inflator of your POSEIDON Diving Instrument is continuously feeding the wing, immediately disconnect the hose from the inflator and deflate the bladder to avoid a rapid ascent. Terminate your dive and ascent. This issue may arise if the inflation mechanism is frozen, possibly due to high water content in the breathing gas, so have your gas examined. It can also be caused by a damaged o-ring or a jammed mechanism due to salt/calcium formation, in which case have the Besea serviced by an authorized service center.

What to do if it is impossible to fill the bladder of POSEIDON Diving Instrument?

      Dale ChangAug 19, 2025
If you cannot fill the bladder of your POSEIDON Diving Instrument, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that everything is properly connected. If that's not the issue, the feed button might be frozen or jammed by salt/calcium formation, so terminate your dive and ascent and have the Besea serviced. Note that it is possible to inflate the bladder orally. Also, check if the APRV covers are loose and tighten them if necessary. Finally, overly tightened ClamRetract™ cords could be the cause, requiring service by an authorized service center.

If bubbles are coming from the bladder of your POSEIDON Diving Instrument, it may be that the inner PU bladder is punctured. Immediately terminate your dive and ascent. Have the Besea serviced by an authorized service centre.
