Operating instructions
powerPress and hold the mode key 3s to turn on,long press again to turn
off.
Preset: Up to 40 channels are preset on DAB and FM. Dab and FM
mode,long press store program short press recall program.
INFO/menu:short press View program information and long press into
the setup menu.
Back: exit menu or go back to the previous level
OK/Scan: long press 3s automatic search in DAB and FM mode
Prev: previous channel
Next: next channel
Vol+/-: Adjust the volume up or down
mode: short press DAB.FM.BT mode to cycle switch
BT MODE: Search the product model link with the mobile phone, press the
volume - or wait 10 seconds to return to the playback interface
SETUP:long press info/menu to enter the setting interface

Operating Instructions

Power On;Off

Usage Features

The POWAPACS Digital Radio offers a straightforward user experience across its various modes.

Powering On/Off: To turn the device on, press and hold the mode key for 3 seconds. To turn it off, long press the mode key again.

Preset Stations: The device supports up to 40 preset channels for both DAB and FM modes. In either DAB or FM mode, a long press of the preset button stores the current program, while a short press recalls a stored program.

Information and Menu Access: A short press of the INFO/menu button displays program information. A long press of the INFO/menu button enters the setup menu, providing access to advanced settings.

Navigation and Selection: The back button allows users to exit menus or return to the previous level. The OK/Scan button, when long-pressed for 3 seconds, initiates an automatic search for stations in both DAB and FM modes. The Prev and Next buttons are used to navigate between channels.

Volume Control: The Vol+/- buttons adjust the audio output level.

Mode Switching: A short press of the mode button cycles through DAB, FM, and Bluetooth (BT) modes.

Bluetooth Mode (BT MODE): In BT mode, users can search for the product model ("QM_PC3") on their mobile phone to establish a connection. After connecting, music from the mobile phone can be played through the radio. If no connection is made, the device will return to the playback interface after 10 seconds.

Setup Menu Options: To access the setup menu, long press the INFO/menu button. The menu offers several configurable options:

  1. Full Scan: Initiates an automatic search for stations, similar to a long press of the SCAN button.
  2. Manual Tune: Allows users to manually select a frequency for searching.
  3. Prune: Provides an option to remove invalid or unavailable stations from the station list.
  4. Backlight: Adjusts screen brightness and sets screen protection options.
  5. Time/Date: Configures time and date settings, including display effects.
  6. Alarms: Sets up two independent alarm clocks (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
  7. Sleep: Configures a sleep timer for power saving.
  8. Language: Offers 9 language display options for the user interface.
  9. Factory Reset: Restores the device to its default factory settings.
  10. System Version: Displays the current software version of the device.

DAB/FM Mode Usage:

  1. To enter DAB or FM mode, short press the mode button until "DAB" or "FM" is displayed on the screen.
  2. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal signal reception.
  3. Long press the SCAN key to initiate an automatic scan. The screen will display "scanning..." as programs are automatically stored.
  4. Adjust volume using Vol+/- and navigate between stations using the Prev and Next buttons.

BT Mode Usage:

  1. Short press the mode button until "BT" is displayed on the screen.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for "QM_PC3" to connect.
  3. Once connected, play music on your phone, and it will stream through the radio.

Maintenance Features

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your POWAPACS Digital Radio, adhere to the following maintenance guidelines:

  • Avoid Liquid Exposure: The unit is not waterproof. Do not expose it to liquids, humid, or moist environments.
  • Chemical Solvents: Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents, as this may damage the finish.
  • Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, whether hot or cold. Recharge the unit only under normal temperature conditions.
  • Sharp Objects: Do not allow sharp objects to come into contact with the device, as they can cause scratches or damage.
  • Internal Components: Do not insert any objects into the body of the device to prevent damage to internal parts.
