Do you have a question about the Powerplus POWX1710 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The POWERPLUS POWX1710 is an 8V air pressure pump designed for inflating car and bicycle tires, as well as various inflatable items for games, sport, and leisure. It is not intended for pumping large-volume inflatables like boats or very large air beds, nor is it suitable for professional use.

Function Description:

The POWX1710 operates by connecting an air hose to the item to be inflated and then activating the pump. It features a display and keyboard for setting desired pressure values and selecting different inflation modes. The pump automatically stops once the preset pressure is reached. It is powered by an internal battery, which can be recharged via a USB-C connection.

  • Connecting the air pump: Ensure the battery is charged. The air hose (1) screws into the top-left connector. The small air hose connector (2) is for storage and transport, and must be unscrewed for operation. Various adapters (10-13) are provided for different applications. The air hose connector (2) can be used directly for cars, motorcycles, and some bicycles without an adapter.
  • Operation:
    • Turn on the pump with the power switch (3).
    • Screw or insert the air hose connector (2) to the item's nipple.
    • Hold the "M" key (22) for 3 seconds to select the desired measuring unit (Bar, KPA, PSI, Kg/cm²).
    • Choose from 4 preset pressure values (car, motorcycle, bicycle, ball) by pressing the mode key (16) until the corresponding logo is shown on the display.
    • Alternatively, manually adjust pressure using the "+" (18) and "-" (19) keys.
    • Press the "M" key (22) to start inflation.
    • The pump stops automatically at the set pressure, or can be stopped manually by pressing "M" key (22).
    • Turn off the pump with the power switch (3).
  • Safety Warnings:
    • Read the manual and general safety instructions carefully before use.
    • Do not operate in explosive atmospheres or near flammable materials.
    • Keep children and bystanders away.
    • Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
    • Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces.
    • Do not expose to rain or wet conditions.
    • Do not abuse the cord.
    • Use an appropriate extension cord for outdoor use.
    • Use an RCD protected supply in damp locations.
    • Stay alert and use common sense.
    • Wear eye protection and other safety equipment (dust mask, non-skid shoes, hard hat, hearing protection) as needed.
    • Avoid accidental starting; ensure the switch is off before plugging in.
    • Remove adjusting keys/wrenches before turning on.
    • Maintain proper footing and balance.
    • Dress properly; keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.
    • Use dust extraction/collection facilities if provided.
    • Do not force the power tool; use the correct tool for the application.
    • Do not use if the switch is faulty.
    • Disconnect from power before adjustments or storage.
    • Store idle tools out of children's reach.
    • Maintain tools; check for misalignment, breakage, or other conditions affecting operation.
    • Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
    • Use the tool, accessories, and bits as instructed.
    • Know your inflator and its limitations.
    • Do not exceed the marked maximum pressure of the item to be inflated (max 8 Bar).
    • Store indoors, away from rain.
    • Inspect for cracks, pinholes, or imperfections.
    • Never cut or drill holes in the inflator.
    • Ensure the hose is free of obstructions.
