Why Powersmart Chainsaw motor does not run?

  The motor of your Powersmart Chainsaw might not be running due to several reasons: the battery pack may not be attached, so ensure it is securely connected. There might be no electrical contact between the saw and battery; in this case, remove the battery, check the contacts, and reinstall it. The battery pack could be depleted, requiring a charge. Overheating of the battery pack or chainsaw can also prevent operation, so allow them to cool. Make sure the lock-off button is depressed before pressing the trigger switch. Check if the chain brake is engaged and pull the chain kickback brake handle backward. If the saw chain is bound in the wood, release the trigger switch and remove the saw chain. Clear any debris from the bar groove or inside the cover to ensure smooth operation.
