Why does my PowerWasher H2010-1 unit will not start?

  Several factors can prevent your PowerWasher Pressure Washer from starting. First, verify that the unit is switched to the 'ON' position and that the plug is securely connected. A defective GFCI plug could also be the culprit; try the reset procedure. Also, ensure you're using the correct extension cord (length and gauge). If the gun trigger isn't working right or the gun itself is defective, it can prevent starting. Finally, a tripped thermal switch might be the cause—allow the unit to cool before restarting. In some cases, the ON/OFF switch itself may be defective. Note: the unit will only start when the trigger is depressed.

  Irregular pressure in your PowerWasher Pressure Washer can stem from several issues. Check for gun or hose failure, and replace if necessary. Ensure there are no kinks in the garden hose and that it's unwrapped from any storage wheel. Stop any water leaks from the hose or unit before use. Shorten the garden hose if it's too long (25-50 feet is recommended for city water, 30 feet for well water). Also, clean any clogged nozzle. Finally, air in the pump can cause this issue, so let the pressure washer run with the gun trigger depressed and the wand removed until a steady stream of water is released. Make sure that the wand is attached to the gun.
